MBA Students Recognized at Award Ceremony

Michael Addison and Cliff Wolford, two graduates from the MBA program at UC, were recognized during an awards ceremony.

On May 6, 2017, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in the Robert W. Plaster Graduate School of Business at University of the Cumberlands (UC) hosted a reception and award ceremony recognizing student success and inducting new members into Sigma Beta Delta, the international honor society for business, management, and administration students.

Michael Addison of Corbin, Kentucky, received the 2017 Rising Star Award. The recipient of the award is considered an emerging leader in the field of business whose record reflects ongoing and exceptional growth in contributions to the profession, as well as increased levels of responsibility and leadership. Addison has more than 15 years of full-time ministry and consulting experience, currently serving as the Lead Pastor at New Hope Church of God in Corbin.

Cliff Wolford of Duffield, Virginia, received the 2017 ETS Exam Top Scorer Award as the top scorer from the graduating class of 2017 on the ETS exam. In the nationwide exam, Wolford scored in the top two percentile. Wolford has worked in upper management for more than 20 years and is currently the Area Sales Manager at Maxam North America.
